Technical Sales Engineer will play a key role in supporting the sales, production, and commissioning of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This position is responsible for translating customer requirements into technically sound and commercially viable solutions, driving optimizations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services aligned with company standards and strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate combines a strong technical background with proven experience in the energy sector - preferably in battery energy storage - together with a proactive mindset, continuous learning approach, and the ability to mentor and support junior colleagues.
Task
- Design and implementation of application solutions and optimizations for containerized BESS systems
- Ensuring compatibility and seamless integration of new applications within existing systems and infrastructure
- Providing technical consultancy and support to internal stakeholders and customers, including resolution of technical issues
- Analysis of customer technical requirements and development of appropriate solution concepts
- Preparation and review of technical documentation, technical annexes, and user manuals
- Testing, validation, and optimization of applications to ensure performance, reliability, and safety
- Supporting commissioning activities and user training during deployment of new solutions
- Continuous monitoring of emerging technologies and market trends, with recommendations for innovation and implementation
- Close cooperation with the Sales Department on technical aspects of bids, proposals, and customer negotiations
- Contributing to team development through knowledge sharing and mentoring
- Business travel, including international assignments
- Initial product training provided; primary workplace in Bohumín or Frýdek-Místek (for candidates outside the Moravian-Silesian Region, possibility of working from the Prague office or remotely)
Your profile
- University degree in a technical field (preferably Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Application Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a comparable role
- Experience in the energy sector or energy storage solutions
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development
- Willingness to mentor and support junior team members
